Visitor Opening times

The Visitor Centre is open daily throughout the school summer holidays, 10am – 5pm, for Reception (including memberships), shop and toilets. The cafe is currently closed and will re-open in the Autumn.

Our two outdoor refreshment kiosks (Snack Shack and Waffle Shack) are open daily (10am – 5pm) serving a variety of sweet and savoury options, ice-creams and hot and cold drinks.

Stanwick Lakes’ outdoor facilities including the car park, outdoor toilets, BBQ area, play areas including waterplay, assault course, adventure trail and adventure playground and our NEW ‘Stanwick on Sea’ area are all open.

If you are trying to contact us please be aware we have a reduced number of staff working, so our response to emails, social media, voicemails etc may take a little longer. Thank you for your patience.

The site is open from 7am – 8pm. Cars left in the car park after this time risk being locked in overnight.

Please note: The toilets are only open when the visitor building is open. Outdoor toilets are situated behind the refreshments kiosk, but these are locked at night.

Coach Parking Charges

There is limited parking for coaches for which there is a charge of £30 per coach. (Please note that anything larger than an 18 seater is classed as a coach.) This is effectively an admission charge for use of the facilities, and it applies whether large groups are dropped off or the coach stays on site. Please contact the Rangers (01933 625522) in advance to book a coach parking space.

Car Parking Charges 2021

Admission is charged for through car parking charges (see table below), although the site is free to those who walk or cycle in. Please note that the pay machines accept cash only (change is given) although you can pay by card at the Snack Shack and the Rangers’ log cabin until 8pm.
