Your images can help us celebrate, protect, and promote Stanwick Lakes
We love seeing Stanwick Lakes through your eyes. Whether it is a family day out, a muddy dog walk, or a quiet moment with wildlife, your photos help show what the site is really like for the people who visit and care about it.
You can share images with us on social media by tagging us using the @, or email them to photos@rftrust.org.uk. But if you’re happy to allow us to add your images to our image bank to help support and promote the charity in all of our marketing materials, we’d really appreciate it – and for this, please considered using the form below.
Below are three types of content we are especially keen to receive.
Family Ambassadors
This is all about real family adventures at Stanwick Lakes. We are looking for warm, honest photos that show people enjoying the site together.
We would love to see:
- – Families enjoying the play areas and pathways
- – Our seasonal trails, activities, café or museum
- – Everyday memory making moments
- – Rainy day visits and all-weather fun
(encouraging people to be prepared and still enjoy the outside whatever the forecast – within reason!)
If you enjoy sharing family life and days out and are happy to tag us regularly on social media, this could be a great fit.
As a charity, we rely on goodwill and voluntary support. While your contribution is voluntary, we are open to discussing a discounted or complimentary membership for supporters who regularly support us and help showcase Stanwick Lakes in this way.
Ambassa-DOGs!
This celebrates responsible dog walking at Stanwick Lakes. The focus is on well behaved dogs on leads, enjoying the site in a way that helps protect wildlife and other visitors.
We are looking for:
- – Dogs on leads across the site
- – Calm, considerate behaviour around peopl
- – Friendly exchangs and puppy playdates
- – Realistic dog walking moments
- – Indoor and outdoor images
- – and plenty of posed shots
This content helps us show how dogs can enjoy Stanwick Lakes responsibly.
As with our Family Ambassadors, this programme is voluntary. However, for those who contribute regularly and help us promote responsible dog walking, we would love o invite you to our AmbassaDOG community, with partner benefits as a thank you for your support.
Nature, Landscapes & Storytelling
This is for those who love documenting their surrounding. From big skies to small details, these images help tell the wider story of the landscape and wildlife, and may also capture heritage stories.
We are interested in:
- – Seasonal changes across the site
- – Wildlife, plant life and heritage stories
- – Wide landscape views and quieter moments
- – Ethical and responsible photography fieldcraft (this means respecting nature, and no disturbance to wildlife and habitats to ‘get the shot’)
These type of images help us promotes Stanwick Lakes across many channels and help build our image library. Some of this content may be selected for inclusion in a Stanwick Lakes calendar later this year or for next, should we receive enough suitable submissions. The calendar would be sold in our shop, help promote our wider conservations work, and raise funds. Photographers will be credited.
