Stanwick Lakes Olympic Challenge

Sat 21st July 2012 -Fri 31st August 2012

Start: 10:00 AM | End: 5:00 PM

Are you ready for the Stanwick Lakes Olympic Challenge?

Jog, walk or skip the Stanwick Lakes mile, scramble over the assault course, explore the adventure trail and cycle or paddle around a lake!

To celebrate the Olympics, Stanwick Lakes is setting you a special Olympic Challenge. Come and try 5 different activities which will be fun for all the family, keep you fit and healthy and help you to explore more of this unique countryside attraction. . . and if you complete 3 or more of the activities you will be awarded a Stanwick Lakes Olympic Medal!

You can choose how many of the activities you do, which order you do them in and whether you do them in one day or complete the Challenge over several visits between 21st July and 31st August. The details of each of the activities are listed in a special Olympic Challenge leaflet, which you can buy from the visitor centre. To prove that you have completed the activities, you must punch the Olympic Rings on the leaflet with the special hole punches that are around the site. Once you have completed all of the activities you want to, take the leaflet to the Rangers’ Cabin between 12 noon and 5pm to receive your medal – remember, you need to complete 3 activities to be awarded a medal, but you are welcome to do all 5! (only one medal per Olympic Challenge Leaflet)

Everyone who takes part in the Olympic Challenge and provides us with their email address will be entered into a prize draw for an annual membership to Stanwick Lakes.

Most of the activities are free of charge and can be done between 10am and 5pm from Saturday 21st July to Friday 31st August. Free activities include the Stanwick Lakes mile, the assault course, the adventure trail and cycling if you bring your own bikes, or you can hire bikes and boats at Stanwick Lakes.

Normal carpark charges apply.
