Stanwick Lakes is a unique 750acre countryside attraction and nature reserve in the heart of Northamptonshire's beautiful Nene Valley, and is widely considered to be one of the region's most imaginative outdoor activity destinations. It offers the best of both worlds: extensive play areas to keep adventurous families entertained for hours, and for nature lovers, walkers and cyclists, acres of wide open spaces and paths, where blue skies are reflected in tranquil waters.
And if the weather is less than perfect? Head indoors to the visitor centre, with its host of facilities and activities.
Stanwick Lakes is managed as a social enterprise by environmental charity, Rockingham Forest Trust, in partnership with East Northamptonshire Council.

Christmas is Coming!
Join us this month for Willow Lantern Workshops, Santa in his Grotto, our Christmas Celebration and a magical Winter Solstice Lantern Walk. The dates, times and more detail for all of these events can be found on our What’s On page on our website.
The 2016 dates are now set for our Traditional Craft courses next year. Please visit the brand new Trading Places website to see what courses are being provided and to use the online booking facility. Christmas is only a month away and one of our craft experience days would make a great gift!
