Stanwick Lakes is a unique 750acre countryside attraction and nature reserve in the heart of Northamptonshire's beautiful Nene Valley, and is widely considered to be one of the region's most imaginative outdoor activity destinations. It offers the best of both worlds: extensive play areas to keep adventurous families entertained for hours, and for nature lovers, walkers and cyclists, acres of wide open spaces and paths, where blue skies are reflected in tranquil waters.

And if the weather is less than perfect? Head indoors to the visitor centre, with its host of facilities and activities.

Stanwick Lakes is managed as a social enterprise by environmental charity, Rockingham Forest Trust, in partnership with East Northamptonshire Council.

Christmas is Coming!

Visit Santa and Mrs Claus in the magical grotto at Stanwick Lakes on 10th, 11th, 17th and 18th December. £4.50 per child (includes present) – don’t forget to come into the Visitor Centre for hot chocolate, mulled wine and other seasonal treats. We have started serving our Christmas lunches in our festively decorated cafe and these will be available until 21st December (excluding weekends). Booking is essential. Please call (01933) 625522 to book your table. Menu

Please be aware that from now until the end of February the site closes at 5pm. If your car is left on site after 5pm, you will be locked in (this does not apply to prior arranged functions). The Visitor Centre is open from 10am – 4pm (5pm at weekends and during the school holidays).

Our car parking machines accept cash only and are currently unable to accept the new style £5 notes. When the Visitor Centre is open we may be able to provide change.
